Mission and Strategy

Kazakhstan Institute of Accreditation «SAPA» was created in 2017. It is a non-commercial organization founded by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 3, 2017 for the purpose of organization and conducting accreditation of educational institutions/educational programs.


Mission of Kazakhstan Institute of Accreditation «SAPA» consists in formation of the culture of quality in educational organizations and increase in competitiveness of education in Kazakhstan.


Tasks of Kazakhstan Institute of Accreditation «SAPA»:

  1. To introduce the quality standards in educational programs of Kazakhstan’s educational institutions according to the international requirements to providing education quality assurance.
  2. To increase the quality of education and to form the culture of quality in educational organizations.
  3. To improve the quality of providing educational services on the basis of continuous monitoring of the best practices.
  4. To promote introduction of procedures for ensuring quality at all levels of the educational system.
  5. To contribute to development of cooperation of employers and educational organizations, carrying out expert assessment of educational programs with involvement of the professional community of consultants of domestic and international level.
  6. To support open dialogue and exchange of information between the interested parties and the public.
